ISS Flight
5A was launched aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis on STS-98.
Launch
Date: February 7, 2001
The "5A" designation
indicates that it is the fifth American flight in a planned series
of flights to construct the International Space Station (ISS). The
Flight 5A element consists of the U.S. Laboratory, also known as the "Destiny" module.
Destiny will allow astronauts and scientists to work in a shirt sleeve
