Introduction

Multiple Element Integrated Test (MEIT) is the testing of system functionality and interface compatibility between International Space Station elements. MEIT III involves Node 2 and the Japanese Experiment Module-Pressurized Module (JEM-PM).

The MEIT III Project relies on two major teams: the Integrated Test Requirements Group (ITRG) and MEIT Processing Team (MPT). The ITRG handles requirements and the MPT carries out the actual test. The elements will come together for testing in the Space Station Processing Facility (SSPF), which is located in the Industrial Area at Kennedy Space Center.
